12 1/2" doll; Long platinum blond hair with pink streak in the back, the pink is a lot lighter on my doll than any other Jem, unsure if that's typical of her. She's differentiated from all other Jem dolls in that she is smiling, has blinking earring and no tinsel in her hair.
  • She shares the same face mold as Glitter 'n Gold Jem and Rock 'n Curl Jem, rumoured to be created as an improvement over the so-called "ugly unsmiling" 1st year doll.

stage fashion (dress); gathered hot pink spandex bodice with attached jagged hem two-layered skirt; blue spandex material on bottom, iridescent lace net on the top. Blue with iridescent ties keep it up and in place.

stage fashion (hairbow); made of same iridescent material that is used on dress overskirt and ruffle. It can be thick or thin.

Jerrica fashion;  Soft cotton bright yellow hooded mini dress with rolled sleeves, with raspberry paint splash design. Fairly cheaply made with an unfinished hem, slit on one side.
  • Due to the random nature of the fabric, the dresses can look somewhat different from each other.
  • My US one (left in this photo) was noticeably larger than the one I got on my Belgian Rock 'n Flash.

hose; Silver threaded zig-zag tinsel hose.
2 pairs of pumps (Jem pair) Fluorescent yellow (slightly transparent)
  • Raya came with the same shoes.
  • They are not the loafers or sandals that are seen in various prototype photos.

2 pairs of pumps (Well, boots); Light raspberry pink
  • they are lighter in colour and more flexible that those from Rhythm and Flash and Rock 'n Roses.

bracelet; Fluorescent cuff bracelet with silver stone.
hairpick fluorescent pink

sunglasses; Dark raspberry pink.
microphone: dark salmon pink.
  • more orangey than 1st Edition Jem's mic.
  • The same one came with the Love is Here playset.

cassette tape; Flash 'n Sizzle Jem; Tape has significantly darker pink writing than any other Holograms tapes. Dated 1986. Flash 'n Sizzle Jem; Jem Theme, Time Is Running Out, Set Your Sails.
  • The one shown has some sunlight damage, it should be completely white.
batteries; The now obsolete A-76.
  • I've found laser pointer batteries work in her, I've been told that they are safe to use in her, as they replace A-76s.
  • Secondly, occasionally batteries leak. You may be well advised to rip into that NRFB Jem doll and take them out. A carefully opened box is less of a problem than battery acid all over the clothes if future value is your concern.
figure stand; Dark pink, not completely transparent, it's a bit milky-looking.
  • The same (or close enough for all practical purposes) stand came with Danse, Video, Flash 'n Sizzle Jem, and the 2nd editions of:Aja, Kimber & Shana.

Items not listed in Hasbro's box contents (not all dolls came with the same posters and inserts, this is a listing of what I got personally with my dolls)

Anything in Italics I haven't actually seen but have good reason to believe exists. If you have any photos or information/corrections to share, I'd love to hear about it!

  # Again, just the darker eyebrows and more teeth showing, otherwise she looks like the produced doll.

  # Missing her hairbow, her hair is styled in a way that would not allow for one
  # She's wearing a silver bracelet, like 1st Edition Jem's.   # Again, someone fiddled with the picture and drew pumps over her feet.

  • Her hair looks more mullet-y than usual
  • darker eyebrows, but has the same lip paint (smaller amount of "teeth" showing).
  • Hairbow is pink net
  • Bracelet is a thin, yellow zig-zag style
  • Jerrica's sunglasses are not the square kind, but the more triangular shaped lenses style
  • The MIB doll shows the Jerrica hoodie outfit to be plain yellow - no splotches, she is also wearing a silver bracelet.

Hasbro box back photograph (basically the same photo that's used  in the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue (except reversed) and the2nd year catalogue poster)
  • # Most obviously amiss are the weird satin-y loafers, that are basically drawn on her :)  The 2nd year catalogue poster (which is otherwise identical) shows her in yellow sandals.
  • Her eyebrows are rather dark compared to my doll, the white of the teeth is a bit wider too (the lipstick isn't on the "teeth" at all, like it is on the doll) otherwise the make up is essentially the same.
