peplum dress: Mini dress made of aqua blue spandex with purple animal spots design.  Ruffle and straps are stiff light purple material with a shiny rainbow animal print design.  Straps snap in the back. 
  • The aqua with spots material was going to be reused for other clothing pieces in 1988, according to the photos in the Hasbro Pre-Toy Fair Catalogue Matching Medley Fashions.
hose: Lilac with silver threads.
shoes: purple, scallop-edged.
  • These are the only purple scallop-edged shoes.

The same photo (see top of page) is used for the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue, the 1987 France/UK Toy Fair Catalogue, the Second Year Jem Catalogue Poster and the Second Year package art -the tights look to be waffle-weaved but other than that it looks like what was actually produced.

It is one of the outfits featured in the Rock Backstager and Rock N' Curl Jem commercials. It may be in other commercials I haven't yet screen captured for this site.
