red violet jumpsuit: strapless hot pink spandex, velcros in back.
belt: white iridescent "mosaic" type pattern, velcros in back.
scarf: gold stretch sparkle fabric that velcros together.
glove: same gold stretch sparkle fabric as the scarf, more like a armband in that it is handless.
      • Running Like the Wind has a similar gloves, except they are shorter and have been sewn together to hold in place over the hand.  See a photo of the two together to compare.
pumps: gold metallic straight edged pumps.
      • Shown left is the thick-sided H-44 version. As there is only one pair of gold straight-edged shoes, they are easily identifiable, but they can vary somewhat in colour. See Liz's photo for variations in thick and thin sides, hues and paint pattern (there are some pure gold ones out there!)

Packaging Variants: A listing of the packaging that Only The Beginning can be found in, that I know of, so far!
*I don't own all of these fashions NRFB so I can't say which, if any posters and inserts originally came with it.  Bold listings are those I have used to create this ID page.  Anything in Italics I haven't actually seen but have good reason to believe exists.  If you have any photos or information/corrections to share, I'd love to hear about it!

1986 German Leaflet,  (same photo appears in an issue of Topolino, and again in the 1986 Belgium catalogue)showing the outfit again in a deeper colour, no belt, velcro missing on scarf, hot pink shoes, and the arm band is made of gold lamé.
