green dress: Lime green spandex, dropped waist with attached purple lamé band and flower decoration.  Attached skirt is lime green stretchy mesh with polka dot pattern, jagged, diagonal hem.  Straps are thin lime green ribbon, velcros in back.

flower hairpiece: Three flower shaped layers, bottom layer, purple lamé. top two layers are lime green mesh with polka dot pattern.

tights: Fluorescent Yellow matte stretch tights, elasticized waist.
  • The exact yellow hue that this fashion came with can vary, I have heard of this fashion with tights that aren't fluorescent yellow.
  • There are a few Jem outfits that came with yellow tights.  See a photo of them together, and/or check the tights guide for more information.

sandals: Lavender open toed heeled sandals.

Packaging Variants: A listing of the packaging that Let The Music Play can be found in, that I know of, so far!
*I don't own all of these fashions NRFB so I can't say which, if any posters and inserts originally came with it.  Bold listings are those I have used to create this ID page.  Anything in Italics I haven't actually seen but have good reason to believe exists.  If you have any photos or information/corrections to share, I'd love to hear about it!

Other images of Let The Music Play (generally unproduced/prototypes/promotional figures) Differences from produced fashion (if any)
First year Jem catalogue poster and the 1986 Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue (same photo) shows the outfit with purple tights and straight-cut pumps; as well the purple parts of the dress and hairbow look more reddish, the netting on the skirt and hairbow look more yellowish and are a slightly different pattern.
The same photo is used for the 1987 US Hasbro Toy Fair Catalogue, the 1987 France/UK Toy Fair Catalogue, the Second Year Jem Catalogue Poster and the Second Year package artit looks like the produced outfit
Topolino
In a photo used in the 1986 German Leaflet, (same photo appears in an issue of Topolino, and again in the 1986 Belgium catalogue) the dress trim appears to be more yellow, the tights are yellow, and the shoes are yellow straight cut pumps.  The hairpiece looks a bit larger to me too.
