12 inch (30.5 cm) Articulated fashion doll: Caucasian doll (slightly tanner skintone than Jem, mine is a slightly yellower shade than Original Rio), purple hair with black lowlights throughout, blue eyes. His hair is parted down the middle and is short in the back.
  • Shares the same face mold as Original Rio, (though mine at least seems thinner somehow) marked © 2012 IT on the back of the head.
  • He has more prominent eyeliner, less pink lips and lighter eyebrows, as well as side-glancing eyes.

He has an articulated body that can hold many poses. He originally came with plastic bands taped around his knees, under his pants. He comes with two pairs of hands. (Back view with markings © 2006 JWU BY IT.) Judging by the date, his body probably wasn't designed specifically for the Jem collection.
    • Despite having the same measurements as Jem listed on the box, he is a bit taller than her, especially considering that he is flat footed and she has arched feet. Unlike the female dolls, he has ball jointed ankles.
    • Not sure if it's just luck or what, but my Glitter 'n Gold Rio's neck is much more movable than my Original Rio doll's neck is.

These are the ones he was packaged with.

The second pair are in different positions. They came in his box in a little baggie in a tray beside him in his box.
outfit Made up of pieces itemized below.

Tuxedo shirt: Soft white satiny material, pleated in front with exposed white "buttons" - it actually closes with hook and eye fasteners. It has a wing collar which gives it an old-fashioned look, complete with french cuffs with gold "cuff links," which are two buttons sewn to either side, not actually functional.

Tuxedo pants: White grosgrain, pleated in front, decorative "pockets" in back, real zipper fly with hook and eye closure at waist. Waistband and stripes are a very shiny woven gold fabric that matches the jacket. (back)

Tuxedo Jacket: Tailed, very shiny woven gold fabric, jacket lined with dark yellow satiny material, white velveteen lapels, one breast pocket, 6 gold decorative buttons down front, two in back. It does not have a closure. (back)

Socks: shiny ribbed white crew socks.
bow tie: gold ribbon with holographic gold crepe bow tie attached (fabric matches Glitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica skirt), fastens in back with a yellow elastic loop that goes over a tiny pearl button.
accessories Made up of pieces itemized below. These were placed in a clear plastic tray displayed beside him in the box. Unlike the other Integrity dolls with an accessories tray such as this, his was not hidden from view by a "cardboard door".

watch: gold-coloured metal face, two thin metal cords that act as a watch strap. (see back). Came attached to a small pink piece of cardboard with the rose.

white rose: White and green fabric petals, green wire stem. Came attached to a small pink piece of cardboard with the watch.

LP: Plastic with super shiny dark gold mirror finish, grooved with a pink painted "label". Goes into sleeve, also included. Came attached to a long pink piece of cardboard with several other items in the accessory tray.

Record Sleeve: Glossy pink cardboard, back is pink, has licensing info on it. Came attached to a long pink piece of cardboard with several other items in the accessory tray.
Champagne bottle: Hollow clear greenish plastic Clicquot-style champagne bottle, nice nod to Jem's early days (stylized M) there on the neck label! Came attached to a long pink piece of cardboard with several other items in the accessory tray.
Champagne glasses: Clear plastic. Came attached to a long pink piece of cardboard with several other items in the accessory tray.
shoes: White leatherette loafers, beige soles with short heel. White leatherette insoles.

doll stand Made up of pieces itemized below.

stand base: Plastic with super shiny pale gold mirror finish. The Jem logo & text is visible at certain angles. It is blank on the bottom.
    • Glitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica also comes with this stand.
    • I cannot stress enough how easily these get smudges and tiny scuffs on them! Mine came pretty scuffed up, it was packed in a baggie. At most angles though, it just looks like a shiny gold with no obvious scuffs.

Stand pole: gold-tone plastic tube with an adjustable metal inner pole.
under arm doll holder: Gold-tone. Attaches to the top of the stand pole.
    • it is larger than that of the female dolls.
Box, liner and inserts not noted in Integrity's box contents above.

Shipper: A plain cardboard box with some printing on the bottom reading ITEM NO.: 14045/DESC.:Glitter'n Gold RIO PACHECOTM/The JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMSTM Collection/IT Direct 2013 Online Exclusive Adult Collectible Doll. The doll box inside was wrapped in clear cellophane bag.

Box: as it came out of the shipper & clear bag. Very bright and shiny gold. Has the same embossed record design and size of the Integrity dolls (not including Hollywood Jem).

The back is similar in style to that of Hollywood Jem, but it is a high gloss finish (and obviously has different text).
The box cover lifted off to reveal the doll inside - he is tied in with white ribbons. The knees are protected/held in place with clear vinyl (under pants). To the left of the doll is his accessories tray. Some parts are in plastic baggies or attached to a pink piece of cardboard. The stand base is behind his calves in a separate compartment. Behind the inner tray that holds both the doll and tray part is where the COA is found. The backdrop is orange, like Hasbro's Glitter 'n Gold Rio's back was orange, way back in 1986.

The inside of the top cover is high gloss hot pink with white Jem logo & confetti/music notes design printed on the inside. The inner part of the back of the box is undecorated black.
Certificate of Authenticity: postcard sized. Sorry about the watermark but... kinda seems like a good idea not to totally copy a certificate of authenticity! There is no mention of the edition size. It came in a baggie behind the inner box that holds the doll/closet scene.
    • Glitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica is the only other doll with a similar COA.
    • Neither he nor Glitter 'n Gold Jem/Jerrica came with instructions.
