Jem Page 1

Jem Original Outfit
First appears in The Beginning and again in: Disaster, Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up, Battle of the Bands. At which point it is replaced by a more faithful reproduction of the doll's outfit.
Model sheet number J-1
Hasbro produced this doll & fashion. The first Jem fashion shows a dark pink belt and red bracelet, otherwise it's fairly faithful to the produced doll. The hair is always shown completely cotton candy pink on the cartoon, the real doll was mostly blonde with a small section of pale pink hair. The eye make up is also a lot less extreme on the doll. The 1st edition doll's earrings were usually plain red bulbs, though some had star-shaped clear caps over them. The doll comes with tights.

Up & Rockin' (Jem)
First appears in The Beginning and again in: Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up, Battle of the Bands, Starbright Part 1: Falling Star, Starbright Part 2: Colliding Stars, Starbright Part 3: Rising Star, The World Hunger Shindig, In Stitches, Culture Clash, Hollywood Jem Part 2 (reused footage).
Model sheet number J-6
Hasbro did produce this fashion. Different shoes and necklace, otherwise looks somewhat like the produced fashion.
Trivia
  • This is the first produced auxiliary outfit to appear in the show in syndication. It's just in a tiny segment in a Misfits video that's repeated from a later episode.
  • Jerrica's half doesn't appear until Frame Up.
  • It's also shown on a poster in the background of the Gettin' Down To Business video in Kimber's Rebellion.
Let's Rock This Town (Jem Version, blue)
First appears in Disaster and again in: Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up.
After this point the outfit changes to yellow with pink tights and is seen in: Video Wars.
Model sheet number Unknown, probably J-2. (Jerrica's side is JR-2)
Hasbro produced this fashion. We first see this fashion as being really different from the dolls' produced fashion; it's baby blue with white tights and pink ankle boots.
Jem Bathing Suit
Makes its first and only appearance in Disaster.
Model sheet number J-16. This is a video-only fashion, yet it is included in the normal Jem wardrobe line with its own model sheet number.
Hasbro did not produce this fashion.

Command Performance
First appears in Disaster and again in: Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up, Battle of the Bands, Starbright Part 2: Colliding Stars, In Stitches, KJem.
Model sheet number J-7
Hasbro produced this fashion. The same overall design as the produced fashion, but in purple tones. See also the pink jewellery in the cartoon version, which explains the pink shoes.

Gettin' Down to Business (Jem)
First appears in Disaster and again in: Kimber's Rebellion, Frame Up, Battle of the Bands, Starbright Part 1: Falling Star, Starbright Part 2: Colliding Stars, In Stitches, The Rock Fashion Book
Model sheet number J-3
Hasbro produced this fashion. Other than the white sandals shown on the cartoon, it looks quite like the produced Hasbro fashion. On the cartoon however, Jem wears another skirt under her pink mini dress. The doll was not intended to wear both fashion parts. It can be argued either way, if Jem was supposed to wear the pink scarf around her waist, or if it was a Jerrica-only piece.
Integrity produced this fashionLooks very much like the model sheet, but Jem's shoes are slightly different (may as well differentiate them a bit from Jerrica's!) and she comes with a bracelet that wasn't shown on the cartoon, as far as I'm aware.
Trivia Jerrica's side isn't shown until Kimber's Rebellion
Credits Thanks to Sharon for donating the original line art to the Jem wardrobe!
Like A Dream (Jem side)
First appears in Kimber's Rebellion and again in: Frame Up, Battle of the Bands, Starbright Part 1: Falling Star, Starbright Part 2: Colliding Stars, The Talent Search Part 2, KJem
Model sheet number J-4
Hasbro produced this fashion. Most notably, Jem's part on the cartoon has a white lace tunic overdress that the doll's fashion did not come with. The socks are shown to be white on the cartoon, not striped. The cartoon shows a bracelet that the produced fashion did not have.
Integrity produced this fashion.Integrity's version comes with 3 white strands of pearls for the necklace and a doubled over pearl bracelet in lieu of the black chunky beads.
Trivia
  • We don't see Jerrica's side until Frame Up.
  • A strange version of this (I think) appears in Britrock
Credits This is a reworked version of the original model cel, which can be viewed on Felicity-Chan's cel gallery.
Jem's Trench coat (Dark Blue)

City Lights (Jem half)
First appears in Kimber's Rebellion and again in: Frame Up, Battle of the Bands, Starbright Part 1: Falling Star, Last Resorts, Scandal, Britrock
Model sheet number J-5
Hasbro produced this fashion. Looks a bit different from the produced fashion; most obvious I think is the hairbow that Jem wore on the cartoon is not included with the produced fashion. The tights and belt are a lot lighter, the shoes are red (not purple) and the necklace is a choker, not... whatever the heck the one that was made is supposed to be. At least once Jem is shown with a red anklet, I'm not sure if it was always drawn with this fashion or not.
Jem Purple Fantasy Dress
First appears in Frame Up and again in: Starbright Part 2: Colliding Stars, Broadway Magic, Mardi Gras, Beauty and the Rock Promoter
Model sheet number J-11
